Mazatlan - Night Life

While basking in the sun all day don't forget to keep some energy for the night because Mazatlan´s nightlife has the reputation of being first rate. Dancing, live music and festive watering holes are plentiful. The selection to choose from is large. A lot of young Mexican People come here for some party-fun during long weekends, especially. Music at local bars and discotheques ranges from easy-on-the-ears piano bar music to mariachi groups or sonorous tambora bands. To get a real Mexican experience you should try a fiesta night offered at some hotels. A good example is the Sabalos Hotel that also has Joe's Oyster Bar, situated under a palm hut next to the beach. There are also great places for having fun at Plaza Valentino's, such as Bora Bora or Mikonos that have live or hi-tech music. Much of the nightlife is centered in one complex - Fiesta Land - a Mazatlán landmark, located at the northern end of the malecon. This large Moorish structure stands out on Punta Sábalo and can be seen from most Mazatlán beaches.
