January 1st New Year's Day. Celebrated all over Mexico
January 18th In Taxco Guerrero: Fiesta de Santa Prisca.
January 20th In Chiapa de Corzo, Chiapas: Fiesta de San Sebastian. In Leon and Guanajuato: Fair
February 2nd Dia de la Candelaria. Parades, bullfights, dancing, blessing of seeds and candles. Nationwide
February - March Carnival week, preceding Ash Wednesday and Lent. Especially colourful in Mazatlan, Sinaloa; Merida; Yucatan; Veracruz; and Tampico, Tamaulipas
March 10th In Huachinango, Puebla: Dance of the flying men.
April 17th- May 9th The San Marcos Fair of Aguascalientes. The fair plays host to an almighty 12 bullfighting events, 18 cockfighting events, musical shows, a rodeo, mariachi bands and beauty pageants, as well as poetry and craft exhibitions, children's events and lots more.
May 13th -16th Acapulco Boat Show - the most important nautical event in Mexico
June 10th Feast of Corpus Christi in Mexico City
June 29th Tlaquepaque Festival in Guadalajara
July last 2 Mondays Guelaguetza Festival near Oaxaca. Also known as "Festival of the Hill". Great gathering of Indian dancers in their most colorful costumes
