Cozumel - Dining

On this beautiful island, Mexico's own little slice of the Caribbean, there is never a worry or a care. Every choice imaginable is on the menu, from the finest of dining to popular fun establishments, dinner shows and romantic moonlit terraces. From elegant to outrageous, the choices are plentiful. 

Work up an appetite with a wander down the street and your only difficulty will be deciding which of the many great choices to settle on. The aromas, and the tastes will delight your senses. Along with the salsas and tortillas prominent all over Mexico (which are usually presented to you for free almost as soon as you sit down at a table) there are regional cheeses and other specialties unique to the Yucatan, and you will find some of the best of them in little Cozumel 

As you would expect, fresh catches from the sea are the highlight of many menus. Seafood was never fresher or more delectable. Fish is prepared a hundred different ways -- all of them wonderful. Familiar fare such as tacos and enchiladas are a great place to start, then try the many delightful dishes unique only to Mexico. Hearty tortilla soup, for example, is a treat any day.
