Places to go in Cancun
Xaret: Don't miss out on experiencing the sacred tropical paradise of Xcaret. Or, travel back in time with a visit to the archaeological site of 'POLE', an important commercial and ceremonial centre. This is surely one of the sight you should not miss. fascinating scenery and enthralling history. Its normally much hotter here than in Cancun as its inland so be prepared. Take some walking shoes and plenty of bottled water - the site is quite large.
There aren't many places in the world where you can swim with Dolphins, but Cancun has more than one option. Swim with your friends at Xel Ha, Xcaret, the Interactive Aqaurium, Islal Mujeres or at Cozumel. Set out for one of the most pleasurable experience !
Tulum is another of the Mayan attractions a short journey from Cancun. A beautiful array of ruins, an absolutely wonderful beach that you should not miss and beautiful views of the turqouise Caribbean. A half day trip at most, this trip is best combined with one of the many other nearby attractions.

Xel Ha meaning 'where the water is born' is approximately 75 miles south of Cancun and within 8 miles of the ancient Mayan ruins of Tulum. A natural aquarium there is lots to see and do, snorkeling is about as safe as it gets and wildlife is abundant. Here you can swim with the dolphins or take a walk along the myriad of paths through the mangrove forests. Feed the fish from the floating bridge to see why this place is raved about.
