Mexico - Business Hours

Most offices are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. Most people leave for lunch around 2:00 p.m. and take between 1 and 2 hours. The Mexican government normally works from 10:00 am to 8:00 p.m. (if not later) lunch is 3:00 to 5:00. Some businesses may even open at 7:30 AM. 

Almost all banks are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 3:00 P.M. , there are some that open only until 1:30 and some that close until 5:00 and 7:00 P.M. Although transactions are considered to be on that working day if made before 1:30, after that it is considered for the next day. 

Embassies are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Supermarkets are open seven days a week, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Department stores are usually open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
