Many enjoy the lagoon on a day trip from Rarotonga, but there is also a great choice of places to stay for longer. The best way to explore the lagoon is with an organized tour, this can be arranged from all hotel tour desks. There are day trips where you can enjoy a beach barbecue on a deserted island and an afternoon swim or snorkel, or sunset cruises are also a popular option.
