Bahamas - Flights

Most international flights to the Bahamas - to Nassau, Freeport, and the Out Islands alike - connect through cities in Florida, New York, or Atlanta, depending on the airline. No airlines fly directly to Freeport from Europe. Most make a quick stop in Miami. If you are flying to the Out Islands, you may have to make a connection in both Florida and Nassau. 
Nassau International Airport (NAS), 8 miles west of Nassau by Lake Killarney, is served by an increasing number of airlines.

From Nassau to Los Angeles is 7 hours, to New York is 3 hours, to London is 8 hours 30 minutes and to Singapore is 33 hours.
