Board the Calypso for a lively, fun-filled day at the famous Blue Lagoon Island. Beach
All guests of the resort can enroll their children in Camp
Junkanoo, the resort's daily, supervised recreation program. While children make new friends and play with their peers, parents can have some time alone, enjoying the extensive offerings of our resort. Campers may take part in half-day (9:30 a.m. 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. 4:30 p.m.) and full-day programs. Children who enroll in Camp Junkanoo are divided into two age groups, 4 to 6 and 7 to 11, so they can participate in age-specific activities. Camp Junkanoo is not only fun; it offers a safe and secure environment where children are properly supervised. The average age of a Child Coordinator is 21, and the ratio of children to Child Coordinator is 6:1. Children are always monitored and kept in a secure area.
Discovery Channel Camp at Atlantis Paradise Island
Become an explorer for a day in this one-of-a-kind camp experience. Sorry, adults, only campers ages 4 to 12 are allowed. Camp facilities include base camp, the center of operations featuring a replica of the
Atocha, a Spanish galleon that sank off the Bahamian seas in 1622. The science outpost has live-animal touch tanks and high-powered microscopes. The technology lab has state-of-the-art computers and Internet access. Nature crafts are also offered, where you make your own shark-tooth art and other fun crafts.

Klub, kids age four and up are cared for by specially trained hosts. Supervised daily activities, babysitting, lunch, and prize programs. Day, night, and combination programs available. Reasonable rates.
Stingray City
At Blue Lagoon Islands, snorkel among our inquisitive marine life. Explore an underwater world where you may come face to face with a grouper eel or sergeant majors. Experience the thrill of hand-feeding a stingray.
Unicorn Village Children's Resort
The 60,000-sq.-ft. property sits just off JFK Drive behind the Imperial Mattress Co. Unicorn village provides a healthy, safe environment with developmentally appropriate activities for girls and boys between the ages of 3 and 10 years. These activities promote proper physical, mental, social, and emotional development. The 1 1/2 acre property houses two swimming pools, a toddler pool, and a regular pool, a full-sized tennis court, a 4,000-sq.-ft. sand box, and an enormous climbing frame including five slides, two bridges, monkey bars, and a swinging sky game. There is also 18,000 sq. ft. of hillside grass for free play, or running games.

Head down to Haynes Cricket Field to enjoy this British sport. You can follow all the action on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 1 p.m.
Island Helicopters

Sailing and Boating

Blue Lagoon Island close encounter: After an educational talk on our deck, wade into waist-deep water for close-up contact with our dolphins. Glass Bottom Boats
glass-bottom boats depart every hour to the beautiful reefs and sea gardens of Athol Island from Woodes Rodgers Walk, running parallel to Bay Street along the harbor's edge.
Ride a Horse on the Beach
No experience is necessary. Two rides a day and roundtrip transportation from hotels is provided. The trail is approximately one and a half hours. Total cost is $85 per person. Reservations are required. Children nine years old and up only. Weight limit is 200 lbs. One person per horse. Inclusive transportation is for riders only. There is a $10 roundtrip charge for
non-riders.
Sea kayaking in the Exumas
One of the best and most popular ways of exploring the Exumas is by sea kayak, with several outfitters offering guided expeditions through the cays. Starfish The Exuma Activity Center rents kayaking equipment and offers excellent day trips, in which a leisurely journey precedes a picnic lunch on one of the several small islands enclosing Elizabeth
